What It Does
The Wolverine Stack is the most widely referenced tissue repair peptide combination in the research peptide community. The core stack (BPC-157 + TB-500) creates a synergistic healing environment by combining BPC-157's powerful angiogenic and fibroblast-driven repair with TB-500's systemic actin-mediated cell migration and anti-inflammatory action. Together they accelerate healing of tendons, ligaments, muscles, cartilage, and organs significantly beyond either alone. The advanced version adds PEG-MGF for direct satellite cell activation in muscle tissue.
Component Overview
BPC-157 Contribution
- VEGFR2-Akt-eNOS angiogenesis → new vasculature at injury site
- FAK-Paxillin pathway → fibroblast/tenocyte migration and wound bridging
- Nitric oxide homeostasis → optimal tissue perfusion
- GH receptor upregulation → collagen synthesis
- GI tract healing (oral bioavailable)
TB-500 Contribution
- Thymosin Beta-4 actin sequestration → promotes cell motility systemically
- Endothelial cell and keratinocyte mobilization → wound re-epithelialization
- Anti-inflammatory (reduces IL-6, TNF-α at wound site)
- Systemic reach: circulates and reaches distant injury sites (vs. BPC-157's more localized action)
- Cardiac tissue protection
PEG-MGF Contribution (Advanced)
- PEGylated Mechano Growth Factor → extended half-life vs. native MGF
- Satellite cell (muscle stem cell) activation → muscle repair and hypertrophy
- IGF-1 splice variant — acts locally in muscle to trigger progenitor cell proliferation
- Synergizes with BPC-157 angiogenesis for muscle graft-quality healing
Dosing Protocols
Basic Wolverine Stack
- BPC-157: 250–500 mcg SubQ daily (or near injury site)
- TB-500: 2–2.5 mg SubQ 2x/week (loading phase, 4 weeks) → 2 mg/week (maintenance)
- Duration: 4–8 weeks continuous; reassess
- Source: The Peptides Bible, Peptides Made Easy
Advanced Wolverine Stack (+ PEG-MGF)
- BPC-157: 250–500 mcg SubQ daily
- TB-500: 2–2.5 mg SubQ 2x/week
- PEG-MGF: 200–400 mcg SubQ 2–3x/week (post-workout or post-injury)
- Duration: 4–6 weeks; cycle off 4 weeks
Acute Injury Protocol
- Increase BPC-157 to 500 mcg 2x/day in first week
- TB-500 loading dose: 5 mg/week for first 2 weeks, then reduce
Stacks Well With
- GHK-Cu – collagen remodeling enhancement (see GLOW Blend)
- Ipamorelin + CJC-1295 NO DAC – GH axis for systemic collagen production
- Hexarelin – GH + cardiac protection complement
- IGF-1 LR3 – muscle repair and anabolic recovery synergy
Use Cases
- Tendon Injury (partial and complete tears, tendinopathy)
- Ligament Repair (ACL, MCL, rotator cuff)
- Muscle Tears (grade I–III strains)
- Bone Healing (fractures; TB-500 promotes osteoblast activity)
- Cartilage Repair
- Surgical Recovery (post-operative healing acceleration)
- Overuse Injuries (chronic tendinopathy, fasciitis)
- Spinal Injury (disc and soft tissue support)
- Cardiac Tissue repair (TB-500 cardioprotection)
Contraindications & Safety
- Active malignancy — angiogenesis and growth factors; absolute caution; avoid
- WADA Prohibited — all components banned S0; competitive athletes must not use
- Opioid use — BPC-157 antagonizes morphine analgesia; note interaction
- Individual component contraindications apply — see BPC-157, TB-500, PEG-MGF
- No established lethal dose for BPC-157; TB-500 safety well-characterized in animal models
Storage
- Individual lyophilized peptides: -20°C long-term; 2–8°C short-term (weeks)
- Reconstituted: 2–8°C for 2–4 weeks each; protect from light; do not refreeze
- Mixing for injection: Can combine in same syringe at time of injection
- Solvent: Bacteriostatic water (multi-dose) or sterile water (single-use)
